AVAFES Canarias, in collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, offers this 16-hour theoretical-practical course for people who want to start identifying and monitoring the most common birds in Gran Canaria. In the theoretical part, relevant aspects of birds, their songs and biology will be discussed, as well as an introduction to bird monitoring programs. In the practical part, bird watching transects will be carried out in which you will learn first-hand the most common species in each ecosystem.
