The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) collaborates for another year in the Agricultural Fair, Livestock and Fisheries FEAGA of Fuerteventura.
At the fair, which celebrates its 31st edition and is organized by the Fuerteventura Cabildo, 30 students from the 5th year of Veterinary Medicine at the ULPGC have participated, who have collaborated in tasks of management, care and identification of cattle.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the ULPGC has collaborated for 20 years in the organization of FEAGA. For this reason, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the ULPGC, Juan Alberto Corbera Sánchez, met with the President of the Fuerteventura Council, Marcial Morales, and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Juan Estárico, and handed them a plaque in recognition "for twenty years of collaboration and dedication to Veterinary students at FEAGA". Both Morales and Estárico confirmed the continuity of this collaboration, which they described as "so necessary to cover the attention of the several hundredcattle heads that participate in FEAGA”.
